Another personal post here.
I’m giving a bit of thought to making that metaphysical/religious conversion over to a Mac for one of my main computers.
My problem is this: I exist in a business that is absolutely tied 100% to the Microsoft Office world.
So my question, dear readers, is as follows: How well does the Mac version of Office integrate with the PC world?
MOST IMPORTANTLY: Let’s say I’m viewing/creating/sending Word documents from my Mac. If I send them to a PC user… will there be ANY PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER with viewing or compatibility… especially when it comes to page design and formatting and whatnot? I absolutely cannot fudge on this issue. I need Word documents to be the same on Mac and on PCs.
So, what has your experience been? Is this possible? Is the Mac Word the same as the PC Word in terms of the documents created? Is it foolproof? Or are there hiccups in the process? I appreciate any and all feedback.
